Restaurant Makeovers

Carol Leonesio (Paint It!) and Susan Siefer (MadPatter Production) teamed up to work their magic at two Northshore Boston area restaurants recently.

Evenfall and Glory, both owned by brother and sister team Spiro and Adrienne Pappadopoulos, are two of the hottest restaurants north of Boston. Their delicious food, creative menus and fun bar scenes have earned them Best of Boston Awards from Boston Magazine.

Evenfall was done using a deep eggplant base color with a coppery bronze overglaze. Susan and Carol created a customized look for the windows by hand painting canvas panels and etching the bottom portion of each glass window.

The alcove area glows warmly with these copper/bronzed glazed walls.

Here’s a closer look at the walls.  The screws were done using metallic hologram foils.

Carol and Susan also brought the Damask design around to this door and etched part of the design directly onto the window.

Stay tuned for more rooms to be done at Glory in the future.
