One Day Care Center Done, Three to Go!

June 16, 2008 //  by Paint It!

All good news! Learning Zone # 1 is now done.

Kite wall
I added these 3 kites to the wall in the Indoor Activity Room. I also added the words: live, love, laugh and learn to some of the circles in the Reception Area, but that space was being organized when I was ready to take a pic and too many boxes in the way. I’ll get a pic of that space later. );

When I first met Melissa, the owner of the Learning Zone, she told me she would like to open several Learning Zones. I joked with her about having a franchise of Learning Zones and she would have to fly me all over the country to paint them. Well, she’s not exactly flying me all over the country, but she is expanding again. Currently she has 1 Learning Zone in Weston (MA), and one opening on Monday in Belmont (MA). She had one in Watertown (MA), but the space was too small, so she decided to move to Belmont. Now, more space in the Watertown location has become available, so she is taking it. She will keep the current, small space in Watertown for a Summer program and then move over to the bigger Watertown space in the Fall. Also, more space has become available at the Belmont location, so she is taking that soon too. All the spaces will use the same designs throughout to keep the Learning Zones consistent in look. I’m very excited about all of this. All of the parents of these kids in day care are potential clients for me. I will be designing a new postcard with my company info to have on hand at each of the locations.
