Powder Room Fun

October 17, 2008 //  by Paint It!

Chalk boardThis week I have been having a little fun working in a new client’s powder room. The room is very small. It also has to house the cats’ litter box. This wall has been painted with chalkboard paint, which you know I love. 🙂 A piece of chair rail was added for a ledge to hold the chalk and eraser.

MouseHere is a close up of the mouse that is standing on the ledge. I used Sharon Sim’s mouse stencil for this project.

Sticky weedThe remaining walls were painted a gold tone and I used one of my favorite giant stencils from the Stencil Library, called Sticky Weed. I just roller stenciled it with in an off-white. Here you can see it reflected in the mirror, which actually helps to open up this tiny room a bit!
