At the end of last week, as you may recall, I was preparing a few surfaces in my kitchen for a quick makeover.
I added a little splash of color to the inside of this recessed shelving and just gave all the woodwork a fresh coat of Linen White to brighten it all up.
This boring door needed a little something, so I turned it into one giant chalk board. I painted a "blank month", using a white paint pen, so now I can just fill in the calendar each month, as needed.
I love the dramatic look of the black door against the Linen White woodwork and find this large calendar format much more useful than those small squares found on most calendars.
