WooHoo…Ostriches in My Front Hall!

September 14, 2011 //  by Paint It!

Hall done Whenever I first saw Helen Morris trot out this new Ostrich design, I new immediately they were going in my front hall! Now I realize not everyone thinks Ostriches parading on their wall in their front entry is for them, but…why not?

I used Periwinkle Blue Lusterstone on the background of this accent wall.

Left wall

The hall is narrow, so I cannot get a full shot of the wall. I did the pattern at a descending angle from left to right.

Right wall

Here’s the right side.

Close up 1

A close up of the details. I kept them fairly simple, with a little shading and a little outlining.

Close up 2 I added Swarovski crystals for the eyes.

I love this stencil! Thanks Helen!!!

I have seen this wonder. Just another part of her amazing home design.
